Calling all educators, near and far—are you still working hard to implement Common Core State Standards (CCSS)? Looking for great professional development opportunities this spring and summer? Looking for opportunities that come to your neighborhood?
A recent poll from ASCD SmartBrief showed that this year, 52 percent of educators received more Common Core-related professional training than last year, with 30 percent of respondents reporting they spent “much more” learning time on the CCSS. Well the folks at ASCD have heard your calls.
With this in mind, we’ve added a whole new list of locations for spring and summer Professional Development Institutes focused on bringing the action right to you. Just as the fall and winter institutes were held in eight different cities—Little Rock, Nashville, Atlanta, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Honolulu, and Denver—the spring and summer institutes will bring another eight locations into the mix.
