Show Them Teaching Is Lovable


The May issue of Educational Leadership examines the topic of “Bolstering the Teacher Pipeline,” looking at ways schools can improve the development and support of new and prospective teachers. In a video segment from the issue, educator Dan Brown argues that to develop a “coherent teaching continuum,” school systems and communities need to think more seriously about “growing their own” teachers, in part by engaging high school students’ interest in the profession.
