Most-Clicked: Last Lecture Inspires Millions

What would you want to leave your students with if you knew that you were giving your last lecture or lesson?

Last fall, Carnegie Mellon Professor Randy Pausch famously rose to the “last lecture” challenge around the same time he discovered he only had months to live. Pausch’s lecture quickly became a top-watched video on YouTube, and the ideas were channeled into a #1 best-selling book about achieving your dreams, and enabling others to achieve theirs.

Randy Pausch passed away July 25, outliving doctors’ best-case-scenario predictions by months. His words and actions continue to touch and inspire millions.
