Join the Leadership Discussion with #ASCDL2L

ASCDL2L Twitter ChatTomorrow @ASCD is hosting a Twitter chat and you’re invited to join us!

On Tuesday, March 4, from 8:00–9:00 p.m. Eastern, ASCD Emerging Leader Jill Thompson (@Edu_Thompson) will facilitate a chat through the #ASCDL2L hashtag with guest ASCD Author Grant Wiggins (@grantwiggins).

Because you may not be familiar with the L2L acronym, we’ve created this page to tell you all about it. Basically, #ASCDL2L (short for ASCD Leader to Leader) is a way for the ASCD community to engage in discussion via Twitter, led by the core of ASCD’s volunteer leadership, including affiliates, connected communities, emerging leaders, professional interest communities, student chapters, and the whole child network of schools.

But the conversation is not limited to those with an official ASCD leadership title. If you care about improving the way educators learn, teach, and lead, then you should join the #ASCDL2L conversation. We’ll be holding monthly chats on the first Tuesday of every month from 8:00–9:00 p.m. ET, facilitated by an ASCD leader with a guest ASCD author.

Much like #ASCDEdSpace and the #ASCDForum, this conversation is by educators, for educators. We hope you’ll add your voice and join an online community of educators who are continually learning, teaching, and leading.

So mark your calendar, and we’ll see you online at 8:00 p.m. sharp (Eastern Time) on March 4!

Meg Cohen is the manager for ASCD Constituent Programs, where she is continually inspired by the work of ASCD affiliates, connected communities, professional interest communities, emerging leaders, student chapters, and the whole child network of schools. You can find her on Twitter @megkcohen where she shares the great work of ASCD leaders through the #ASCDL2L hashtag.
