ASCD’s Conference on Educational Leadership is right around the corner, and we are here to provide you with a sneak peek into the conference schedule. The conference promises to give school leaders like you new ideas for your leadership knowledge base, help you focus on what matters most in leadership, and connect you with global educational leaders. Stay tuned here on Inservice each week for more insight on what is to come at the ASCD Conference on Educational Leadership.
You’ve printed your conference registration confirmation e-mail for safe keeping, you’ve already booked your flight to Las Vegas, and you can’t wait to kick off the conference by attending a Pre-Conference Institute on Thursday, October 31. Also, be sure to attend the Making Connections Welcome Reception and visit the ASCD Bookstore and Resource Center on Thursday, October 31, from 5:00 to 7:00 in the evening. Pick up your conference materials, enjoy light hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar, meet ASCD authors and presenters, and network with others from your region and around the world.
The countdown to ASCD’s Conference on Educational Leadership has begun, and you are ready to map out your weekend at the conference!
While planning which sessions you would like to attend, remember the on-site special events occurring throughout the weekend. In particular, schedule some time in your busy weekend to attend the Author Talks on both Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The Author Talks will be your perfect opportunity to meet ASCD’s authors and learn more about their books and their work.
