Comment Policy

Comment Moderation

All comments and trackbacks to Inservice are reviewed for spam or offensive language. Anything deemed spam or offensive will be erased.

Editing Comments

Inservice reserves the right to edit all comments for grammar and usage, clarity, and conciseness. All comments posted on Inservice become property of ASCD and thus conform to ASCD copyright provisions.

Language, Length, and Format

Inservice welcomes a variety of viewpoints but will not tolerate threatening or profane language. The editors request that all comments engage respectfully with the topic at hand.

If a particular topic compels you to write a very lengthy reply, please consider posting it as a thought on your own blog, and trackback to the original Inservice post. Blog comments should typically range from 25 to no more than 200 words. Comments longer than this may be truncated so that readers have the opportunity to review all comments and not be monopolized by massive missives.

However, if you regularly feel compelled to pour out your opinions, there may be opportunities for you to guest blog or editorialize for another ASCD publication. Please contact the editors with your intent.

Please add only links that are relevant to Inservice posts and enhance the value of your comment to our readers. Excessive and/or inappropriate links will be removed.
