#ASCD13 sham-Rocks Chicago: The 2013 Tweet Up

Who’s got 75,600 thumbs, is all about the hashtags and knows how to speak in 140 characters or less? Our Twitter followers, that’s who!

We’re excited to be hosting our second annual ASCD Tweet Up, sponsored by Herff Jones Nystrom, and we know it’s going to be even bigger and better than last year. Since we’re headed to Annual Conference over St. Patrick’s Day weekend this year, our Tweet Up theme is “#ASCD13 sham-Rocks Chicago.” You’ll find all the major details below and make sure to RSVP on Eventbrite for free.

What: Good company, St. Patrick’s Day fun, complimentary appetizers, a photo booth and a chance to connect with fellow @ASCD followers and educators at the #ASCD13 Tweet Up—an in-person meet up of Twitter users.
When: Saturday, March 16, 2013 from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m.
Where: Buddy Guy’s Legends, 700 S Wabash Ave., Chicago, Ill. Conference attendees may take the Route 1 shuttle directly to the Tweet Up.

If you’re asking, “What’s a tweet up?” the answer is simple. It’s a chance for Twitter users to meet in-person, network and talk face-to-face. So whether you tweet every day or haven’t gotten around to signing up for Twitter just yet, we hope to see you at the 2013 Tweet Up. After a day jam-packed with conference sessions, the Tweet Up is the place to kick back and hang out with your fellow conference attendees. We’ll see you at Buddy Guy’s Legends on March 16!
