ASCD Resources and Publications? There’s an App for That!

It’s amazing what students are doing on iPads these days. We see them cropping up in classrooms around the world. From reading tools, interactive math games, and images of faraway lands at the touch of a finger, the iPad is one of the best new classroom tools for students. But what about educators?

Well, ASCD is pleased to announce that we’ve got you covered.

Our new ASCD for iPad app lets you read any of the ASCD e-books you’ve purchased and downloaded. And if you’re an ASCD member, you can use the app to access your issues of the award-winning Educational Leadership, Education Update, and Policy Priorities on the go. If you’re not a member, you can still receive free digital versions of these three ASCD publications, as well as a free book excerpt just by downloading the app.

To download the app, go to the App Store on iPad or www.itunes.com/appstore and search for “ASCD for iPad.” Once it’s downloaded, sign in with your ASCD username and password and your ASCD e-books and member publications will automatically appear.

And while you’re browsing our publications on your iPad, don’t forget to use iTunes U to access other ASCD podcasts, videos, study guides, webinars, and more.
